The Arts Society

Founded in 1968, The Arts Society has approximately 90,000 members, belonging to 400 Societies worldwide, who share a passion and a curiosity for the arts. We hold over 4,000 events a year offering everyone the chance to hear one of our expert speakers, including leading curators, academics and authors. Volunteering with The Arts Society gives members opportunities to become involved with preservation and conservation projects, to learn new skills, socialise with people with similar interests and to support the arts within their local community. The Arts Society awards grants twice a year to registered UK charities; our grants are intended to give access to the arts to those that wouldn’t normally have access to them and to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
