Art History Festival | Art and the Religious Imagination: A Conversation with Rowan Williams
Join art historian Deborah Lewer for a wide-ranging conversation with the noted theologian, poet and former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams. She will be asking Rowan Williams about his own relationship with visual art, including about the works of art that have moved him to write poetry, and those that inspire and challenge us more widely in our lives today. This will be a discussion about how art can open up, to all of us, ways of seeing and imagining the world differently.
Deborah Lewer is Senior Lecturer in History of Art, University of Glasgow.
We are delighted to announce that additional tickets have just been released for this event on the National Gallery website.
