Join us for a free webinar offering an overview of some of the various roles in arts organisations including Community Engagement, Learning, Digital Content Production Fundraising and Development and Marketing and Communications.
Our guest speakers will offer information and advice aimed at undergraduate students and A Level students thinking about pursuing careers in this sector. There will be time for Q&A.

Speaker Biographies
Amber Akaunu is a Video Producer for the National Gallery, where she communicates the Gallery’s collection to an online audience of millions. she obtained a BA in Fine Art from Liverpool Hope University in 2018 and an MA in Filmmaking (Screen Documentary) from Goldsmiths in 2021.
Kathryn Havelock is Marketing and Communications Specialist in arts and culture with nearly 20 years’ professional experience from leading arts, leisure and heritage organisations including The British Museum, The Design Museum, The Wallace Collection and the V&A. She currently works at Imperial War Museums and is pursuing an MPhil in Art History at Birkbeck College. She serves on the boards of the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, VocalEyes, The De Morgan Foundation and The Association for Art History.
Claire Mead is an Engagement Manager at the London Museum, working with communities across London to involve underrepresented audiences with the collections and programmes. With a background in art history and curatorial studies, she specialises in community engagement around LGBTQI+ audiences and has been involved in consulting, co-curation, research and delivering tours, talks and performances with museums nationally and internationally, She is on the board of Trustees of the Vagina Museum and, as a drag king, has recently founded the Museum Drag Network to explore the potential of drag and queer performance in engaging with queer histories within museums .
Siti Osman has extensive experience working with renowned arts and cultural institutions such as Tate, Royal College of Music (RCM), National Gallery, and Southbank Centre in income-generating, fundraising and stewardship roles. She stewarded the £25 million capital campaign at RCM, delivering the philanthropic donor recognition project at the height of COVID lockdown. Siti read her Master’s degree in Art & Business (MAAB) at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London.
Gráinne Rice works in the Learning and Engagement team at National Galleries of Scotland. She is a Board Director of Uplands CIC and The Steven Campbell Trust. She gained her doctorate, a critical biography of Scottish artist Steven Campbell, in 2020 from University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include Scottish art, collecting and nostalgia, and the Serbo-Scottish designer Bernat Klein.
