Art History Festival | Rethinking Blackness in Western Art

How do Western narratives of art history inform our perception of Blackness? Alayo Akinkugbe will consider this question in relation to the role of Black sitters, artists and the layout of national museums, with the hope of challenging long-existing and outdated concepts.
