A FREE Online CPD Workshop for Primary School Teachers
This session will:
- Help raise your confidence in introducing art to children
- Explore how art history can support and enhance learning across the curriculum
- Use art works to provide opportunities to consolidate taught literacy skills such as speaking, listening and writing
- Investigate how art can help develop children’s powers of imagination, inventiveness and critical awareness.
The workshop will include:
- Practical case studies of artworks from UK galleries and museums
- A range of interactive strategies to engage children with art and fire up their imagination and support learning
- Resources for further study for children and teachers.
