Free Young People’s Workshops with The Courtauld in November/December

November 20 and December 11 2020

Are you aged 16-18 and passionate about art, architecture, art history and visual culture? The Courtauld’s series of free Insights into Art History workshops for Young People are back with a further three workshops exploring curation, illustration, the expressive power of drawing, and the radical impact of Impressionism!

You will collaborate with artists, curators, art historians and other young people interested in the arts to explore world famous artworks in The Courtauld Gallery collection, uncover new research, experiment with new materials and discuss different approaches to understanding and making art – as well as learning more about the diverse career paths available with art history.

These workshops are free and open to students attending UK state schools and colleges. The upcoming workshops are:

Curate & Illustrate your own Collection! – Sat 20 November (online)
Shock and Rebellion | Impressionism – Sat 20 November (online)
Modern Drawings | Order and Chaos – Sat 11 December (in-person)
