How to Write About Art
How to Write About Art for Funding Applications
If you missed this hugely informative talk you can now watch the recording online.
Thanks to everyone who joined us on 4 November for ‘How to Write about Art’ for successful grant applications. This was the fourth in our series of informal online talks on writing about art and art history from different perspectives and for different purposes.
The talk focused on how to write successful grant applications for support with projects, exhibitions and collaborative work within the arts and culture sector. We were joined by Catherine Monks, Head of Funding Partnerships at Art Fund, and Sarah Philp, Director of Programmes and Policy at Art Fund and a Trustee of the Association for Art History. Both Catherine and Sarah have a wealth of experience within arts funding and offered advice, guidance and tips on how best to approach and submit grant applications.
This was a FREE online event, open to all. It will be useful to those new to applying for arts funding, as well as those looking for guidance on how to improve their applications. It may be of particular interest to students and professionals looking for funding support with art, art history or visual culture projects. The event will last approx 30 mins. It will take place live, but will be recorded and made available afterwards.
