Join us to celebrate Women’s History Month after hours. Explore the history of women in medicine at the RCP through our collections.
What early evidence can be found of women in medicine in the RCP records? Which famous doctor and suffragist campaigned for the RCP to finally accept women members? Which early female RCP member was General Medical Director for the WRNS and set up hostels to care for unmarried mothers with venereal disease?
