Art History Residency: Call for Applications
The Association for Art History, in partnership with The Ampersand Foundation, is calling for applications for its art history residency of up to four months from October 2024 to January 2025.
The residency, now in its fourth year, is open to Association for Art History members at all stages of their careers, providing the opportunity to spend focused time on their research/writing at Wigwell Lodge, owned by The Ampersand Foundation, in the Derbyshire countryside.
The residency is available to AAH members and will be awarded on the basis of a competitive application process for a residency to take place the following year. The recipient will be expected to give a talk on their work in the term following the residency.
This residency will enable the recipient to further their work in a quiet setting in a well-appointed, two-bedroom house with all household costs covered, maintenance and cleaning provided and with a £1,000 per month stipend. As a stipend is provided, only those with permission to work in the UK are eligible to apply.
Contact: please send enquiries and applications with ‘Association for Art History Residency’ in the subject line to: email@example.com. The application form is here.
Deadline for applications: 31 October 2023 at 5:00pm
In order to help us to better understand those who engage in AAH programmes and initiatives as well as to help us further our work on Equality Diversity and Inclusion, may we ask you to fill out a voluntary and anonymised equalities monitoring form when submitting your application.
