The School of Humanities seeks to fill a tenure-track position, at the Assistant Professor level, with specialisation in Contemporary Literature and Art History. The position is a joint appointment with the English and Art History department. All areas of expertise in Contemporary Literature and Global Contemporary Art History will be considered.

Candidates should possess a PhD in Contemporary Literature, Art History, Visual Studies, Humanities, or closely related fields and demonstrate a strong track record or potential for research as well as a commitment to teaching and administrative service. Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and effective teaching.  The usual workload includes teaching two courses per semester, conducting scholarly research and contributing to university services.

Remuneration

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
