Burlington Contemporary | Call for Papers
Burlington Contemporary is a free-access, peer reviewed academic journal, which launched its first issue in May 2019. Contributors included Michael Bracewell, Julia Bryan-Wilson, Massa Lemu and Jenni Sorkin, on topics ranging from the post-Punk origins of the YBAs to performance art in South Africa and the DRC.
We are currently seeking article submissions for our second issue. We hope to address the question of how to write art history for the art being made today, as well as to bring together the most important research and thinking on contemporary art from around the world.
Submissions, which should be no longer than 5,000 words, should be based on original research and deal with the work of living artists. All articles will be subject to peer review. Please send submissions and questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
Deadline 12th August 2019.
