Collection Information Assistant (Provenances)

The National Gallery is seeking a skilled Collection Information Assistant for 12 months to work on data tidying and reformatting as part of its Digital Dossier Programme (DDP), an ambitious research infrastructure and knowledge-enabling change programme  that aims to make ‘everything we know about our pictures available to everyone’.  

The post holder will ensure that the data published by the DDP is comprehensive, accurate and consistent.

The DDP, providing access to our rich store of published research, is a key Collections & Research Directorate deliverable for 2024.  It is a significant part of the Gallery’s commitment to delivering Research for Public Benefit, and the content delivered in the new Research Centre (The Gallery at 200), as laid out in the 2021-6 Strategic Plan.

Contract

Fixed term contract for 12 months, working full time hours of 35 per week. This post is on the Gallery’s band C. The salary is on £26,780 per annum.
