Development Editor

The Association for Art History is looking for a Development Editor to help us get the manuscript of our revised edition of Thinking About Art by Penny Huntsman over the finishing line.

We envision around 15 days of work, to be completed by mid-February.

This will involve:

• Copy editing of the six chapters
• Ensuring content is complete and reads well,
• Resolving remaining queries relating to the main text, footnotes, or images
• Liaising with the Editors at Wiley, the Picture Researcher and Head of Programmes at the Association for Art History

Requirements

• Solid understanding of a wide spectrum of art history, and current trends including themes of art and identity and art and the environment
• Strong writing, editing, and project management skills
• Google Docs, Excel
