Glyndebourne Opera House: Curator of Exhibitions & Events (Maternity Cover)

Fixed-term contract for a minimum of 10 months from January 2024.
We are looking for a Curator of Exhibitions & Events to provide maternity cover for our Festival and Autumn seasons to lead and deliver the commercial contemporary art programme (including artist studio engagement exhibition installations and client development/sales), and associated audience development events.
The exhibition programme for 2024 includes a major exhibition of new work by sculptor Conrad Shawcross RA, a series of poster commissions with contemporary artists, and our annual exhibition of Sussex artists. The purpose of this role is to project manage and deliver the existing exhibition programme, develop and execute a successful commercial sales strategy and manage a wider programme of talks and special events, both at Glyndebourne and in London venues.
