The Doctoral and Early Career Research (DECR) Committee is a volunteer board that drives the Association for Art History’s doctoral and early career research events and initiatives. Through the DECR network we are able to provide a support system and platforms for current PhD students and Early Career Researchers. The committee is made up of 12 people from around the UK who are at different stages of their doctoral or early career who meet up (in person or digitally) 4 times a year.

The DECR community has a longstanding importance within the Association for Art History, and the DECR Committee has been an active presence within the Association for over 30 years.

If you would like to join our DECR committee and gain skills, experiences, and contacts along the way then please do register an expression of interest by completing the DECR committee application form.
