As an organisation we work hard to shape the future for art history. Our Members play an important part in that work and make what we do possible. Our Members help us champion the value of art history, and support our efforts to bring people together to share knowledge, inspire new thinking, and advance research.

Our membership is open to all, wherever you are in the world. Annual membership runs for 12 months from your joining date, and our Membership Plus programme runs for three years from the day you join.

COVID-19 UPDATE

The Association for Art History team are currently working remotely. This follows governmental guidance for office workers and organisations (particularly those in London) to adopt remote working to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As a result of this we are prsently unable to mail out membership cards and materials, but this does not affect your membership status or member benefits. In some instances it may take longer for us to process your membership, so we thank you in advance for your patience.

Please note that we are currently unable to accept payments by cheque or process memberships over the phone.
