PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY

2024 Professional Development Days will take place online on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 May. Open to all.

Our Professional Development Day offers professional advice, insights and career development opportunities, for those at a doctoral, post-doctoral and early career stage.  This event is aimed at people working within arts, art history, curating and other cultural fields. The day covers topics such as applying for grants and funding, post-doc and fellowship applications, publishing, engaging with the media, managing your own comms and social media profiles.

The Professional Development Day invites a range of different presenters to talk about their experiences and to offer specific and topical advice, guidance and training. The day also provides attendees with an opportunity to network and build contacts within and beyond their own professional areas of work and/or research.

The Professional Development day is organised and programmed with our DECR Committee.
