Active Learning Toolkit

This toolkit document includes a range of activities that are designed to engage students with art historical themes and approaches beyond the usual classroom activities. It also includes information on how these activities build towards ‘authentic assessment’, whether formative or summative. The activities and overview of active learning for art history presented here are from educators working with art students, art history students, and students from other disciplines studying art history.
