Gregory Perry

As CEO, Greg provides oversight of the Association, working with the board to establish and implement its strategic direction. Greg’s academic background is in art history and law and he has extensive experience in the museum and gallery sector in the US and in the UK. He began his museums career at the Art Institute of Chicago in advocacy and fundraising and has served as chief operating officer at the National Gallery and York Museums Trust and as director at Pallant House Gallery, the Allentown Art Museum (Pennsylvania) and the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University (New Jersey).

Samuel Bibby

Samuel is Managing Editor of Art History, the journal of the Association for Art History. He studied modern languages at the University of Exeter, and art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art and University College London, before completing a PhD at the University of Sussex. He is currently completing a book entitled Art History Works in Print, which looks at art magazines and art-historical periodicals from 1970s Britain.

Christina Bradstreet

Christina is our Head of Programmes, overseeing all of the Association’s public engagement work with existing and developing audiences to increase participation with our subject. Christina is an art historian and specialises in adult learning and gallery education, having produced courses and events for the National Gallery since 2014. She also served as Honorary Secretary for the AAH from 2013-2016. She holds an MA in Art History from the Courtauld and her PhD was awarded Birkbeck’s Anne Humphrey’s Prize for best 19th-century studies thesis. 

MANOHARI SARAVANAMUTTU

Manohari is Head of Communications & Marketing with responsibility for strategy, branding and image. She has worked extensively with creative industry organisations and has previously held director-level positions in marketing in both London and New York. She studied English at Goldsmiths and art history at Birkbeck. She is a trustee of Dance Umbrella; and has served on the boards of Baltic, Centre for Contemporary Art and Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Manohari works part-time.

JO MACKESON

Jo is our Head of Finance, overseeing the AAH’s end-to-end financial operations. She grew up in Luxembourg, and studied for a degree in German at University College London. After graduating, she became an accountant, and has since worked widely in a variety of sectors including hospitality, brand licensing and charity.

CHLOE NIGRO

Chloe is our Development Manager, responsible for fundraising for the AAH’s programmes and activities. She has worked in the commercial arts sector, including at auction, and in art-focused nonprofits in London. She holds an MA in Arts & Cultural Management from King’s College London, and an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art. 

Chloe works part-time. 

JANE CHANDLER

Jane is Membership Manager and is responsible for developing our membership programme. She has extensive membership experience gained working in the arts and culture sector and was responsible for creating and launching successful membership programmes at both the National Gallery and Westminster Abbey. Jane studied Sociology at the University of Leeds. She is also a practising artist in textile design, printmaking, and jewellery design.

Jane works part-time.

CLAIRE PARKER

Claire is the AAH’s Administrator. She gained her experience working in arts, media and publishing organisations, including the BBC and Bridgeman Images. In her previous role at BBC Studios she managed global photography campaigns. Claire holds a degree in Illustration from the University of Kent; she also volunteers in museums and pursues her own art interests.

Claire works part-time.
