Speaker bios

Toby Monk is Global Director of Recruitment & Engagement at Christie’s, leading talent strategy and employee engagement globally. He is known for developing inclusive pipelines into the art world, including Christie’s apprenticeship programmes. A trustee of the Paul Smith’s Foundation and former Chair of Art History Link-Up, he is a regular speaker on the future of work and social mobility in the creative industries.

Alexandra Steinacker-Clark is an American-Austrian art historian, curator, writer and podcaster. She is the founder and host of All About Art, a podcast dedicated to demystifying the professional art sector, a TEDx Speaker, and co-director of NXT GEN: AWITA x All About Art Programme. She is the author of Working in Art: How to Build A Career in the Art World (Octopus, 2026) and lives and works in London, UK.
