The event is the culmination of University of Reading-based British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow Dr Simon Willems’ research project into how artists critique wellness narratives in the workplace under neoliberalism.
‘Rethinking Wellbeing Through Art’ brings together an interdisciplinary panel of leading scholars from fine art, social science, moral philosophy, and the digital humanities to explore how artists critique workplace wellness narratives in organisational and work-related contexts by evaluating wellbeing as a multifaceted question.

The symposium will run alongside the group exhibition Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger taking place at the the Stephen Lawrence Gallery (University of Greenwich) July 15th – Aug 31st.
Cost: 5 per day and £10 in total to attend for the 2 days.
