Curatorial conversations

In partnership with the Warburg Institute, we invite museum directors and curators to discuss their work.

Through conversations with directors and curators from leading museums and galleries around the world, attendees will hear about their experiences of organising major exhibitions and managing collections. The series explores how curatorial ideas are developed, how exhibitions come together, and how museums can create meaningful connections between objects and audiences. It offers a space to reflect on the discoveries, challenges, and insights that shape curatorial work today.

Past conversations have included Gus Caseley Hayford, the Director of V&A East, Ian Wardropper, former Director of the Frick Collection, Sara Wajid, CEO of the Birmingham Museums Trust and Jonathan Marsden, the former Director of the Royal Collection.
