New Voices is the Association for Art History’s annual one-day conference for new postgraduate research about art, art history and visual culture. New Voices is held in partnership with a university or cultural organisation outside of London, and has a different theme each year. This longstanding, and well respected one-day conference usually hosts 12 papers, a keynote, exclusive tours of university collections, and networking opportunities.
Our 2020 Global New Voices focused on Art, Craft & Industry. It took place online in November 2020.
Our 2021 New Voices conference will take place in partnership with the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds in October 2021. Details about this event will be made available in due course.
New Voices is organised and programmed with our DECR Committee.
